Who we are

This Privacy Policy describes how Scrapeshop("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit scrapeshop.com(the "Site") or join our waitlist. Questions about this policy can be sent to hello@scrapeshop.com.

Information we collect

• Email address. Collected only when you voluntarily submit it through the waitlist form.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps to operate and secure the Site.
• Local device storage. The waitlist form stores submission timestamps in your browser's local storage to limit repeat submissions. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

We do not collect any other personal information, and we do not use analytics services, advertising cookies, or third-party trackers.

How we use your email

We use the email address you submit to:

• notify you when Scrapeshop early access opens;
• contact you about Scrapeshop products, services, offers, and related updates; and
• respond to messages you send us.

We do not use your email for any other purpose, and we do not sell, rent, or trade it.

Marketing emails and how to opt out

Emails we send that promote our services comply with the federal CAN-SPAM Act: they identify Scrapeshop as the sender, use truthful subject lines, and include a functioning unsubscribe mechanism. You may opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to hello@scrapeshop.com. Opt-out requests are honored within 10 business days, and opting out is free.

How we share information

We share your email address only with service providers that process it on our behalf:

• FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) — relays waitlist form submissions to our inbox.
• Email and hosting providers — store and transmit the messages and the Site itself.

We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights, and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information). We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Data retention

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. When you opt out of marketing, we retain only what is needed to honor your opt-out.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@scrapeshop.com. We honor such requests regardless of where you live, including rights available to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.

Cookies and "Do Not Track"

The Site sets no cookies and runs no tracking. Because we do not track visitors across websites, the Site does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals — there is no tracking to disable.

Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us an email address, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including transmitting it only over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update this page, revise the date above, and — where a change affects how we use already-collected email addresses — notify the waitlist by email before the change takes effect.
